Feeding broiler breeder pullets twice daily has little effect on welfare

Is there an improvement in well being if broiler breeder pullets are fed twice daily instead of once a day? The answer to this question, provided by Dutch researchers, is surprising. They proved that the outcome of trials did not match with the expected effect on the pullet’s behaviour.
