The Union for Agricultural Development and Slaughtering has chosen Petersime as its equipment partner for a brand new hatchery project in Amman, Jordan.

Owner and General Manager Haider Amayreh has been a customer of Petersime technology since 1985. His company currently produces around 15% of Jordan’s poultry needs under the quality brands Al Tahouna and Al Etihad. To stay ahead of growing demand, the new hatchery, outfitted with Petersime’s advanced AirStreamer™ technology, will have a capacity of 24 mln broiler eggs a year.

With the latest embryo-response based technology on board, Amayreh believes he will be able to add significant value to the new Amman operations, achieving maximum chick uniformity and quality, better post-hatch performance, and cost savings through efficient power consumption.

Petersime’s Embryo-Response Incubation™ technology is all about incubating each flock to its full genetic potential, according to Petersime. It measures the embryo’s physiologic parameters and adjusts the incubation environment accordingly, for each specific batch of eggs. As a result, it generates greater yield and higher profitability through better hatch results and chick quality.
