Modern poultry production is possible thanks to the efforts of many pioneers. Dr Hiram N Lasher is one. More than seventy years ago he became interested in poultry production and especially poultry health. Now he can look back at the brilliant career and worldwide recognition for his work. Here he reviews the highlights of his experiences in developing poultry biologics in the USA over the past seven decades.
