An illegal poultry processing plant in Örkény, Pest County, Hungary, has been discovered by inspectors. Two tonnes of meat have been seized.

Among several irregularities, live poultry found at the plant had not been checked and approved. Additionally, their place of origin had not been recorded.
When authorities arrived, worked fled, so it is not known how many people were employed at the plant. It is reported that the company operating the plant could face fines of up to Ft 3 million (€12,000).
