Excentials introduces distributor for Mexico and Central America

Excentials, a European based specialty feed additives supplier and subsidarary to Orffa, has announced its collaboration with Industrias Vepinsa SA de CV, Mexico to develop sales and marketing of its’ Excential product range in Mexico and Central America.

Excentials’ portfolio consists of a full range of specialty feed additives branded under the Excential name, including products such as betaine, target-release sodium butyrate, L-selenomethionine, emulsifiers, mycotoxinbinders, rumenprotected vitamins and others. Markets for cooperation include Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama and Belize.

Orffa CEO Eddy Ketels comments: “Cooperating with Vepinsa allows us to have a good entree for introduction of the Excential feed additives range with all stakeholders in the region and matches our strategy for international growth”. These comments are subscribed by Juan Pablo Castanon, CEO of Vepinsa: “We have well trained staff which is now working on our key product of natural pigments. Extending our portfolio with the Excentials’ range is fully complementary and allows us substantial growth in our domestic markets”.

Vepinsa produces, sells and distributes nature-derived pigments to the feed and food industries and specialises in pigments extracted from marigold flowers (Tagetes erecta), for use mainly in the poultry industry.

The first introduction of this cooperation was promoted at FIGAP/VIV America Latina in Guadalajara, Mexico.
