Dr Zoltán Marton joins Aviagen Global Veterinary Team

Aviagen has appointed Dr Zoltán Marton as Veterinarian within its Global Veterinary Team. Dr Marton replaces Dr Akos Klausz in the role, who recently moved to a position within the Aviagen UK Veterinary Team.

The main responsibilities Dr Marton will undertake include providing veterinary advice and support to Arbor Acres customers throughout the Middle East, Africa and Russia and Eastern Europe regions.

Nick Dorko, Global Head of Veterinary Services said: “We are delighted to welcome Zoltán to the Global Veterinary Team. He brings a wealth of high quality expertise to Aviagen and, following a period of induction, will become an important asset to us.”

Dr Marton has a degree in Veterinary Science and a Masters in Business Administration from Budapest University. He had extensive experience as a practising Vet in Hungary prior to relocating to the UK in 2005. For the last eight years he has worked within a specialised poultry veterinary practice in Scotland.

On his new appointment, Dr Marton commented: “I am particularly looking forward to the variety and different challenges that this role will bring and having the opportunity to work with clients in Asia, Middle East and Eastern Europe is something I am especially excited about.”
