The Cherkizovo Group continues to invest in member company ZAO “Mosselprom”, that will equip its hatchery in the Moscow region with Smart incubation technologies from Dutch supplier Pas Reform. The hatchery capacity is 48 million eggs per year.

Pas Reform was selected for the supply of its Smart hatchery technologies following a long-standing association with Mosselprom “and the Dutch company’s global reputation for innovation and high standards in its incubation, climate control and hatchery automation technologies.”

Hatchery automation line

Next to incubation systems, Mosselprom installed recently a hatchery automation line which includes: chick counter and boxing line, spray vaccinator which delivers fast and accurate chick handling; modular washing machine and macerator to ensure a high level of hygiene in the hatchery.

Monitor hatchery data and equipment

In addition to the design and installation of the hatchery, Pas Reform’s senior poultry specialists and technicians will continue to conduct regular site visits, to monitor hatchery data and equipment and provide ongoing technical and consultancy services for Mosselprom’s management team.

General Director of Pas Reform Russia, Wim Schaafsma, says: “Mosselprom is a very dynamic, progressive company – and with a strategy that focuses on safety and sound ecological values in production, highly critical on the subjects of quality and efficiency. Having cooperated successfully through a number of phases of the company’s ambitious plans for expansion, we are delighted that Mosselprom once again chose Pas Reform as its incubation partner, as it focuses on further growth in the future.”
