22-03-2007 | |

InterChicken, based in Bodegraven, the Netherlands, introduces poultry meat enriched with extra omega 3 and 6 fatty acids. The product will be branded under the name ” Balanskip” and is available at the Dutch Vomar- supermarkets.

The new poultry meat is produced in cooperation with broiler producers, a feed company and a poultry slaughter plant. The chickens are being fed a special diet that optimises the balance of omega 3 and 6 in the meat.

The new poultry meat will be introduced this week.
