Slaughtered poultry on the rise in Slovenia

In March 2007, slaughter of livestock increased substantially in Slovenia in comparison with the previous month.

In March 2007, the slaughter of livestock increased in all categories of animals, especially with poultry.
In comparison with the previous month, in March 2007, the number of slaughtered poultry increased by 35.9%. In the same comparison, the weight of slaughtered poultry increased by 28.4%.
In comparison with March 2006, in March 2007 the number of slaughtered poultry increased by 22.3%. In the same comparison, the weight of slaughtered poultry increased by 16.4%.
