Primm wins Poultry Federation’s award

President of O.K. Farms Inc., Ken Primm, was recently named “Industry Man of the Year” by the Poultry Federation at its 48th annual Poultry Festival.

Primm sought extensive experience in all areas of live production and processing after completing his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business from Southern Arkansas University. He is a third generation poultry man with roots to the first contract producer arrangements in the US. He joined O.K. Farms in 1987, and in 1998, after working in the areas of hatcheries, breeders, broilers, live haul, feed milling, slaughter and further processing, he became president of O.K. Farms.
Primm has also been active with the Poultry Federation and served as chairman of the board of directors for nearly 2 years.
