NL: Coop in new chicken transport system
At the Eurotier Exhibition in Hannover, Germany, the Dutch companies Peer System and Meyn Food Processing Technology signed a cooperation agreement.
The aim is to cooperate in the sales of the new chicken transport system of Peer System. The new system consists of 10 moving loading platforms that receive the chickens problem-free, says the company.
Thanks to the special construction the chickens are well placed and cannot harm themselves. The truck is fully climatised, with each truck able to store a maximum of 18,000 kg. The total weight of the truck never exceeds 40.000 kg which is well under the legal limits.
