Nutriad and its Hungarian distributor Panadditiv held a seminar on Salmonella control in poultry for poultry producers in the region.

Many of the leading poultry producers in Hungary heard Bela Szalmas of Panadditiv begin the meeting with a status report on the issues facing the local market. Dr Ir. Pim Langhout, Nutriad Poultry business development manager, presented the fundamental controls that are necessary for the effective control of Salmonella in any poultry operation.

Koen Schwarzer, Nutriad Head of technical R&D, detailed the products and programmes available from Nutriad through Panadditiv in Hungary for Salmonella control. The presentation highlighted the unique product Sanacore SC, which prevents Salmonella invasion of the gut wall, says the company.

Dr Tony Drake, Nutriad commercial manager for Central Europe, concluded the meeting agreeing that the industry faced some tough issues ahead, but added “together we have a range of products with further product development in the pipeline that can help the industry keep on top of the problems of Salmonella”.

Adam Nagy, joint director of Panadditiv: “We were pleased to be able to host the event in our new warehouse and office location so that the industry can see the level of support we have on offer.”
