Pakistan: Poultry industry has huge potential to grow

After Textile, poultry is the second largest industry in Pakistan with enormous growth potential, moreover, millions of workforce are associated with the industry.

This was stated by University of Agriculture in Faisalabad vice chancellor, Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan, while addressing the participants of a farewell ceremony held in honour of outgoing BSc (Hons) Poultry Science graduates from UAF Sub Campus TT Singh.
 
He said that UAF scientists played their vital role in revolutionising the poultry industry with their expertise and valued input.
 
On the occasion, marketing manager of Ghazi Brothers, Dr Asim Mahmood Khan, said that his organisation is extending scholarships to both DVM and BSc (Hons) Poultry Science students and also offering job opportunities to those students, who showed outstanding performance, in either production, treatment, hatcheries, laboratory, marketing and other relevant wing.
