Renowned poultry specialist Dr Saxena deceased

Dr Harish Saxena, the world renowned poultry specialist from India, died on 30 September 2010 at the age of 80 years after a long time suffering from “Ascites”.

He is survived by his wife Shashi and their in the USA living two children and grand children.

Since the early days of World Poultry Dr. Saxena has regularly contributed to the magazine with excellent articles on various aspects of poultry production in hot climate zones.

Dr. Saxena spent most of his life on running and advising poultry and feed production companies in Saudi Arabia and the Emirates. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge and experiences which resulted in writing several books.

He will be dearly missed.
