Number of Newcastle disease cases in Israel rises to six

There are now six cases of Newcastle disease in Israel according to a report listed by the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE).

The six farms concerned, in the Hazafon region, North of Tel Aviv, contain layers, broilers and backyard flocks. A total of 60,294 birds have been affected of which 3,050 have died. A total of 50,644 birds have been culled.
