People: Vencomatic appoints new CEO
The Vencomatic Group has appointed Theo Hoen as the new CEO, beginning on the 1st April 2014.
Theo Hoen’s appointment is made with the aim of organising and guiding the Vencomatic Group through this new phase of future growth.
Hoen has over 25 years experience in the poultry industry and until recently was the CEO of Marel and Stork Poultry Processing. Theo Hoen said on news of the appointment “I am very happy to join the Vencomatic Group, as I love to work in the poultry market for an innovative company with a strong customer focus. Moreover I like working for a company, which recognises its employees as its most important resources”.
He takes over from Cor van de Ven, who founded the company in 1983. Van de Ven will continue to have a significant contribution to the Vencomatic Group by being involved in product innovation.
