Poultry people on the move
World Poultry takes a look at some of the new appointments within the international poultry industry.
Layer poultry genetics company, Hy-Line International, has appointed Renata Casadei as global logistics manager. Based out of Hy-Line's production office in Dallas Center, Iowa, USA, she will be responsible for coordinating logistics for Hy-Line International deliveries from the USA and Brazil production centres and assisting with the logistics for exports from the UK production centre.
Gregory Vanputte has joined hatchery technology company Pas Reform, with responsibility for driving growth and development for the company's Hatchery Automation Systems (HAS) division. Based at Pas Reform's head office in Zeddam, in the Netherlands, Vanputte will work directly with hatchery customers in Western Europe, South America and Northern Africa, while also providing consultancy and support in other regions around the world.
Cobb and Shaver PS supplier, Bromley Park Group, has appointed Dr Tugrul Durali to the role of Group Production Manager based at Tuakau, New Zealand. Tugrul spent 7 years in various technical management roles with Red Lea Chickens in New South Wales before taking up his most recent position as poultry technical manager for Alltech Biotechnology.
Corbion Purac's global network of experts in meat and poultry science, food safety and preservation has grown with the appointment of Casey Weber, PhD, as technical services manager, sales. Weber holds a Doctorate in human nutrition from Kansas State University. He also received a Master's degree in food microbiology and an undergraduate degree in food science at K-State.
