Global egg industry leaders to meet in Paris
The International Egg Commission (IEC) is holding its first conference of 2010 in Paris, from 11-13 April. The focus of this conference is The New Decade: 2010 – 2020.
Leaders and key decision-makers from egg businesses around the world will meet to discuss the latest issues and developments taking place within the industry.
According to IEC Chairman, Frank Pace, more than 280 of the egg industry’s leading decision makers from Asia, America, Europe and Australia, are expected to meet in Paris in April.
“France is one of Europe’s largest egg producing countries; it has over 44 million layers, producing over 900,000 tonnes of shell eggs and more than 200,000 tonnes of processed egg products every year. We are delighted to have been invited to hold our meeting in its capital city.”
Pace continues in saying that even though final preparations are still being made, over 280 participants are expected to join. “With over 50 representatives expected from leading egg processing and egg production facilities throughout France, this really is a unique opportunity for people within our industry to meet and forge contacts with some of the major egg companies within France.”
IEC conferences provide an excellent balance of social networking, and informative industry speakers, carefully designed to help delegates to profit from a direct exchange of ideas with professional colleagues, says the IEC.
The IEC Paris 2010 Conference is being held in the Hilton Arc de Triomphe Hotel.
