Quota system for US poultry import to South Africa
The dispute between South Africa and the United States about import of poultry has been resolved. A 'chicken war' between the US and South Africa resulted from accusations that US poultry producers had been dumping cheap chicken into the South African marketplace, hurting domestic producers who could not compete on cost.
