Indonesia: Sierad invests in poultry breeding

Indonesian Poultry integrator, Sierad, will invest around IDR 350 billion next year to expand their business on poultry breeding, the director of the company, Sudirman FX, has announced.

“We will build poultry breeding houses, fully automatic closed house, on 200 acres of land worth around IDR 350 billion. They will be located in Lebak, Banten. Until now we are only able to produce 10 million day old chicks per year. So with the new investment we will be able to produce 15 million day old chicks per year,” explained Sudirman.   

Based on the IDR 350 billion investment on poultry breeding and some investments on other business line, Sudirman feels optimistic that the corporate earnings will meet IDR 10 trillion in the next 5 years.
