EMKA Incubators continues expansion in Africa

Avichick from South Africa has selected Emka Incubators for the complete refurbishment of their hatchery in the Johannesburg region.

All the old incubators will be removed and replaced by Emka setters and hatchers, all equipped with the unique Teggnologic27 spiral cooling system. This will enable Avichick to produce quality day-old chicks with maximum energy efficiency. The new hatchery will have a setting capacity of 18 million hatching eggs per year.

Eram from Uganda are dealers of veterinary pharmaceuticals, vaccines, equipment, feed supplements and crop protection products. Eram has at its disposal a wide distribution network in Uganda, and is now investing in an integrated poultry, pig and cattle project. They will build a demonstration farm in Lugazi (east of Kampala) to give training to their customers/farmers.

Eram has chosen Emka Incubators as their partner for installing the greenfield hatchery project. That will include setters, hatchers, hatchery automation equipment and the hatchery air handling system. All latest technology incubators in this state-of-the-art hatchery will be equipped with the Teggnologic27 cooling system.
