Lohmann Animal Health opens Mexican subsidiary in Jalisco

Lohmann Animal Health has announced the opening of its 18th subsidiary, in Mexico.

The new subsidiary, Lohmann Animal Health Mexico SA de CV, is located in the state of Jalisco. The company replaces Laboratorios Gortie, distributor of Lohmann Animal Health products in Mexico for more than 20 years.

“Our customers in Mexico will not notice a difference with the change other than the name of the company”, Lohmann Animal Health Vice President of Sales, Bodo Mayerhof said. “They will continue to receive the same service and products they accustomed to since we first began working with Laboratorios Gortie in 1990”.

The same diverse line of Lohmann Animal Health vaccines will be available. The Mexican subsidiary will be a distribution site only, with no production on-site taking place. Current Laboratorios Gortie employees shall remain on staff.
