Tanzania Poultry Breeders Association founded

Tanzanian poultry breeders have joined forces by founding their own association. Named Tanzania Poultry Breeders Association (TPBA), it was registered on 5th July 2011.

TPBA aims at promoting, developing and safeguarding the interest of poultry breeders in Tanzania so as to make the country self sufficient in poultry.

The poultry industry in Tanzania is still at infancy stage, therefore the society aims at fostering poultry management and breeding education among its members. Their objective is to communicate with other bodies and authorities engaged in the poultry industry in Tanzania and around the world.
