Healthy animals are the game-changing variable that will unlock solutions for some of the world’s biggest challenges, says Elanco as it recommits to customer advocacy, centering on the power of healthy animals on the first anniversary of its initial public offering (IPO).

Today, Elanco Animal Health is proud to mark the first anniversary of its IPO, and its transformation into an independent public company. Over the past year, the company has added new innovations to its pipeline in the areas of vaccines, enzymes and oncology to offer new solutions to farmers, veterinarians and pet owners.

The power of healthy animals

Elanco has strengthened its customer focus and advocacy efforts, in large by elevating the public conversation on the critical role healthy animals play in food security and nutrition, human health and well-being, and environmental sustainability. As a central part of Elanco’s commitment to addressing these issues, the company has launched a call to rediscover the power of healthy animals. The effort is designed to put the importance of helping animals lead healthier lives front and centre in critical conversations about food and nutrition security, human emotional and physical well-being, and the sustainability of our planet.

Jeff Simmons, president and CEO of Elanco: “Healthier animals, from cats to cows, are pivotal to our mental health, physical health and the health of our planet. It’s time we rediscovered and leaned into the benefits of pets and protein on a healthy lifestyle.”
