Indonesian poultry industry becoming competitive

Following the economic crisis in 1997 the Indonesian poultry industry is attempting to recover. But the import of US broiler legs has prevented the industry from earning enough. Today the industry is still facing major constraints, but sees opportunities to slowly get back on its feet.
