Israel receives permit to export poultry to Canada

The Agriculture Ministry has announced that Israel will soon begin exporting frozen chicken to Canada now that the proper permits have been issued.

The Ministry of Agriculture Veterinary Services received the necessary export permit after a long process of examination by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. The examinations covered the level of hygiene and sanitation at slaughterhouses and processing plants; production line safety; and the quality of the processed items.
