Thousands of chickens crushed in accident
About 8,000 chickens have died at a farm in India when the roof of a poultry house collapsed following heavy rain.
Attempts by the owner of the birds at Kallimudiyanpatti to rescue the birds failed as the accident occurred around midnight.
