Poultry management workshop for women

The workshop, arranged by the Strengthening of Livestock Services Project, L&DD Department, NWFP, will gather a group of 20 representatives from various NGOs, male & female veterinary assistants of the livestock department. Woman will be given skills in areas of book keeping of farm’s feed, vaccination, sale and purchase of animals and fodder production etc.

These efforts will not only increase the income of the poor rural women, but will also provide employment opportunities, gaining economic empowerment and have the opportunity to work side-by-side with their male counterparts in improving the socio-economic condition.
