HACCP workshop for poultry industry
From 1-2 April, a workshop on Developing &
Implementing HACCP for the Meat & Poultry Industry will be held at the
University of Georgia.
Poultry Today reports that the programme has been designed to meet the
training requirements for all meat and poultry companies to establish and
implement Pathogen Reduction and
Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point programmes in their
plants.
The programme is accredited by the International HACCP Alliance, which aims
to provide standardised training for the meat and poultry industries in HACCP
principles.
