Yum president Eaten
US-based restaurant company Yum! Brands has appointed a new head of KFC
USA to replace Gregg Dedrick, who is leaving the company after 20 years of
service.
The new president of KFC USA is Roger Eaton, who will be responsible for
the company's US$5.3 bln domestic business. Eaton has served as the chief
operating and development officer for Yum! Brands for 5 months, but has worked
for the company for 12 years, serving as senior VP /MD of Yum! Restaurants
International South Pacific and Africa region, regional operations director of
KFC SOPAC and general manager of KFC New Zealand.
Dedrick will remain with the company until early 2009 to help with the
transitional period.
