AI test kit approved by USDA
Inverness Medical Innovations has announced that the USDA has issued the medical diagnostics company a license to make and sell its bird flu test kit.
The kit, called BinaxNOW, for veterinary use, gives test results within 15 minutes, according to the company. It has been reported that the company already has a kit for human use approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
