People: BOCM Pauls appoints poultry specialist
UK feed compounder, BOCM Pauls, has appointed Iain Campbell as its new poultry specialist in Scotland.
Holder of a Higher National Diploma in Poultry Management, he joins the company from the Scottish Agricultural College Avian Science Research Centre, where he was responsible for the management of stock involved in commercial trials.
Additionally, Campbell was involved in advising postgraduate students, record-keeping, feed-mixing and milling, biosecurity and other aspects of modern free-range egg production.
His previous career also encompasses running his own free-range production egg business and the overall management of a 15,000-bird free-range flock, including responsibility for egg sales and marketing.
BOCM Pauls, now part of the ForFarmers group, manufactures, sells and distributes more than 2 million tonnes of animal feed a year.
