Moba launches Uniflex for liquid eggs
Moba introduces Uniflex, the new concentration unit for treating liquid eggs. With a capacity ranging from 3,000 liters to 9,000 liters per hour, this fully integrated automation system processes both whole eggs and egg whites with just one unit. Furthermore, Uniflex separates water from liquid eggs and dry-sprays solids to turn them into powder.

ABN plans new UK ‘super-mill’
ABN intends to build an animal feed mill in England as part of an ongoing investment programme set to transform the UK agricultural industry. The company currently operates 11 mills. The new mill will have the capacity to produce 1 million tonnes of pig and poultry feed per year.
Roxell introduces gas, water and oil heaters
Roxell has expanded its range of convection heaters for poultry and pigs with the introduction of the Siroc Pure space heater with closed combustion, the Siroc Hydro hot water heater, and the Siroc Turbo cannon heater with open combustion.
Trouw Nutrition scales up investment in validation farm network
Trouw Nutrition is doubling its network of validation farms, from 6 to 12 farms. New validation farms are being added in Latin America, Canada, Spain, and the Netherlands. Complementing research conducted at Trouw Nutrition facilities and with partner universities, farm validation trials partner with local farmers to evaluate solutions in context with varying climate conditions and production constraints. Researchers evaluate how factors such as genetics, weather conditions, housing, management, and health status impact the efficacy of nutritional solutions.

Barentz acquires the Noack Group
Barentz International has expanded its activities in the Central East European region with the acquisition of a majority stake in the Noack Group. Headquartered in Vienna, Noack is a specialised distributor of ingredients for the animal nutrition and feed industries and also serves the food and veterinary industry with a wide range of agrofood and veterinary diagnostic test systems and instruments.
Royal De Heus acquires Golpasz S.A. in Poland
Royal De Heus has completed the acquisition of the Polish compound feed company, Golpasz. With annual sales of almost 500,000 t of compound feed, Golpasz, which offers a complete range of compound feeds for multiple animal categories, is prominent in turkey and broiler feed on the Polish market. The company has 4 modern production sites and 12 plants.
Nutreco sets out strategy to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 2030
Nutreco has announced the rollout of its 5-year sustainability strategy, RoadMap 2025, which includes efforts to reduce antimicrobial resistance and an overall reduction of the company’s carbon footprint, as well as broader corporate citizenship goals, including moving the dial on diversity by ensuring a quarter of its leadership positions are held by women.
Aviagen LLC honors Arbor Acres customers with Farm of the Year awards
Aviagen LLC has launched ‘Farm of the Year’ awards to recognise the performance of Arbor Acres broiler breeder customers throughout Russia. In first place was Agrocomplex, who achieved a breeder performance of 152.1 chicks per hen housed at 60 weeks. Second and third places were won by Sayansky Broiler LLC and Amursky Broiler, respectively.
Cobb appoints Steven Xu as GM of Cobb China
Cobb has appointed poultry industry veteran, Steven Xu, as the general manager of Cobb China. He began in this position in March. Xu graduated from China Agricultural University with a degree in animal genetics and breeding. He previously spent 33 years with one of the largest poultry companies in China where he held various leadership positions.
