Influence of pullet weight on cloacal haemorrhage
Body weight management is the most critical aspect of maximising returns from
laying hens. Superior management, including body weight management during the
transition from pullet to layer will increase production and reduce the extent
of cloacal haemorrhage and subsequent mortality.
