Aidan Connolly is the President of AgriTech Capital. Previously he was CEO of agtech startup Cainthus and had a 25-year career at Alltech, where he last held the position of Chief Innovation Officer. Connolly is an adjunct professor at University College Dublin’s Smurfit School of Business, and visiting professor at the China Agriculture University in Beijing. Described by Forbes as a ‘futurologist of food and agriculture’ Connolly has authored the strategic business planning book, ‘2-1-4-3, a Plan for Explosive Business Growth’ as well as his recent collection of essays reflecting the challenges and trends in the rapidly changing agriculture sector ‘The Future of Agriculture’.
