AgCareers and Reed Business join forces

AgCareers.com and Reed Business join forces to bring agriculture job opportunities to Europeans…

AgCareers.com and Reed Business are working together and breaking geographical boundaries to bring agriculture job opportunities to Europeans through the AgCareers.com online job board and distribution channel of Reed Business.

This partnership will use AgCareers.com’s job posting technology to launch a job opportunity board on Reed Business’s established websites: WorldPoultry.net, PigProgress.net, AllAboutFeed.net and MeatInternational.com.

AgCareers.com

AgCareers.com currently provides a variety of job opportunities from production agriculture to agribusiness jobs, such as sales, marketing, finance and many others.

Geographically AgCareers.com has focused on the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, with the idea to grow into new geographic markets. When looking to expand their services into the European market, Reed Business stood out as a logical partner. Reed Business is the top supplier of agricultural knowledge worldwide through both their print and online mediums. They had the infrastructure, insight, and passion to explore the opportunity with AgCareers.com in order to bring further value to their target audience.

“As we continue to expand our geographical reach to meet the needs of our clients, AgCareers.com strives to identify the best way to bring our offerings to new geographical spaces,” said Eric Spell, president of AgCareers.com. “We quickly identified that Reed Business would be an excellent partner to potentially work with, as they are a leader in their space and are dedicated to bringing new ideas and resources to the agriculture industry.”

“The need for talented employees is a worldwide issue and sourcing top quality candidates is not always easy,” adds Spell. “We have been able to provide a solution for employers and job seekers in several countries and are excited about the opportunity to bring this solution to Europe and work with Reed Business in order to do so.”

The requirements of our readership are always foremost on our minds,” said Durk Haarsma, Publisher at Reed Business. “And research has shown an overwhelming interest in viewing career opportunities on our websites making the collaboration with AgCareers.com and obvious choice. With this initiative we are able to provide our readers with the tools to help them with their future career paths. We are confident that this partnership will be a successful one and look forward to working closely with AgCareers.com.”

AgCareers.com and Reed Business plan to launch the job section within the first quarter of 2009, beginning with WorldPoultry.net.

AgCareers.com and Reed Business will be working with both European based organisations as well as international companies with European job opportunities to populate the site.
