A new case of the pathogenic H5N1 bird flu has been found in an ostrich farm in the south of Kuwait near the Saudi border.

Health ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Shatti stated that the country now has 46 infected focal points.

“We no longer count individual cases. We concentrate on focal points or areas where avian influenza has been found like farms, domestic cages or pens,” he added.
