Brazil: McDonald’s sales up

McDonald’s sales in April were up 6.9% compared to the same period of 2008, with chicken products, taking the lead.

According a company press-release, the fast food giant also informed that the company’s total sales were 8.9% up in reais (Brazilian currency), but 1% down in US dollars, compared to April 2008.

The best sellers were the breakfast items and new versions for the chicken meat sandwiches.
