Germany improves its self-sufficiency level

Europe’s largest import market for eggs and poultry meat is slowly increasing its self-sufficiency for these products. This has an important effect on the country’s neighbours, who used to exportlarge volumes of their products to one of Europe’s largest consumer markets.
