Kentucky Fried Chicken expands in Cambodia
QSR Brands Bhd recently announced a deal with Yum! Restaurants Asia Pte Ltd. They will soon expand the KFC brand in Cambodia, with four initial outlets for the capital city of Phnom Penh.
The deal encompasses QSR teaming up with Royal Group of Companies Ltd and Rightlink Corporation Limited Hong Kong to oversee the operation of KFC in Cambodia, with QSR taking a 55% stake, RGC controlling 35%, and RCL 10%.
QSR will open the first four restaurants in the coming year. It will continue to expand the brand in Cambodia, opening up approximately two outlets every subsequent year.
