Stormollen becomes new company in the Danish DLG group

Vitfoss, a subsidiary of the DLG Group, has acquired 70% of the shares in Stormollen, in which Niels van Wyhe has been sole owner and director.

Stormollen, based in Tureby by Køge, has for more than 30 years produced the dry disinfectant Stalosan. This product has been used in Denmark for decades and is sold in more than 40 countries.

“Stormollen and Vitfoss have cooperated on the Danish market for many years, and Vitfoss has been in charge of foreign trade for the last eight years. The acquisition of 70% of Stormollen is therefore in natural continuation of this close cooperation, as the previous owner wants a gradual reduction of his activities. Niels Van Wyhe proceeds in the company as director of development, and we are very pleased with that situation,”said Asbjørn Børsting, CEO of DLG.

Besides Stalosan Stormollen manufactures liquid vitamin products and mineral compounds for horses. These products are manufactured in Tureby by Køge, whereas the Stalosan products are manufactured at the Stormollen factory in Løvel near Viborg.
