Charoen Pokphand Foods is counting on its overseas operations, especially in India and Turkey, to generate high demand, says CPF president/CEO Adirek Sripratak.

This is based on increasing demand for meat imported from neighboring countries, which has proven beneficial for CPF’s business, both in Turkey and India. The company also has high expectations for its chicken-meat exports to Russia.

Turkey, he says, has just began to operate a food-processing plant to produce sausage, meatballs, cordon bleu and chicken burgers, which has enjoing good response from Turkish consumers.

In India, CPF has expanded 3 new aquaculture feedmills, providing a total capacity of 150,000 t per year and is “No. 1” in the aquatic business in India.
