US: Rancho Poultry opening $43 mln processing facility
Rancho Poultry is opening a 100,000-square-foot processing facility, built for $43 mln, in Lebanon, Kentucky, resulting in 250 jobs in the area.
The new plant will reportedly be capable of processing 60 million pounds of partially cooked, battered and breaded chicken products each year. A third product line is also being considered by the company.
Rancho Poultry is a supplier of processed chicken to restaurants and foodservice establishments such as McDonald’s.
