Wm. Goodyear Co. earns ISO Certification
Wm. Goodyear Co., manufacturer of picking fingers for the poultry industry, earned an ISO certification 9001:2008 from the International Organization for Standardization.
The designation acknowledges that the practices and processes used by the company are in compliance with international industry standards.
The certificate provides credibility in the market and serves as a business link among affiliated businesses.
“It’s one more step in our commitment to all our markets,” Harry Goodyear, company vice president said. Wm. Goodyear Co. manufactures picking fingers in its US Monroe, NC, plant. The fingers are manufactured from high-grade natural rubber using ingredients approved by the FDA for food handling applications. Fingers are available in yellow, gray and black colors and are produced to the hardness required by each plant to assure maximum yield.
