Managing breeder hens for more eggs

Maximum egg production may not be achieved because too many follicles are recruited early in lay, while recruitment is deficient late in lay. Therefore, breeder managers have to modulate ovarian function and follicular development to create well-established, clearly delineated follicular hierarchies.
