Mycotoxins affect vitamin metabolism

The occurrence of mycotoxins in poultry feed is well known in almost every part of the world engaged in commercial poultry production. The adverse effects of mycotoxins are dependent upon the nature of toxin, concentration, duration of exposure, age, and nutritional status and the stress factors in the flock. One effect is the result of poor vitamin metabolism caused by mycotoxins.
