The Mexican National Association of Poultry Science Specialists (ANECA), held its thirty-sixth annual convention, from 6 to April 9, 2011, in Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, on the Mexican Pacific coast.

Together with workshops and posters, the program included some presentations by leading researchers from Mexico and abroad, focusing on the areas of health, epidemiology, nutrition and production.

In the commercial area were approximately 50 companies, both national and international, and delegates could see the new trends and innovations and explore business opportunities.

Norel was present to provide technical information about its lines of products for poultry production, mainly grow promoters, based on sodium butyrate (Gustor line), Qualitegg (egg quality improver), and Ecobiol (probiotic).
