Arm and Hammer Animal Nutrition launches ECO
Arm and Hammer Animal Nutrition have launched Eco, powered by Certillus, in the Malaysia market and will soon be available in other South-East Asian countries. ECO is powered by selected Bacillus strains from Arm and Hammer’s vast library, offering a safe, environmentally friendly, non-toxic solution to address fly challenges and poor litter conditions. The product can be fed or sprayed on litter to reduce fly and larvae population, ammonia and litter moisture.
Ziggity Systems unveils Max6 drinkers for broilers
Ziggity Systems has introduced the Max6 drinker, engineered from the inside out for the drinking behavior of high-performance birds, while protecting litter quality and paw health. Key innovations of Max6 drinkers include precision water delivery, enhanced chemical resistance, 360° access, and cup-free hygienic design. The new drinkers retrofit into nearly every existing watering line via Ziggity’s upgrade saddle adapters, letting producers modernize without a full system overhaul.
Aviagen invests in supply base in Saudi Arabia
To enhance its supply chain and its ‘global reach, local touch’ strategy, Aviagen is investing in a Grandparent operation for the production and distribution of Parent Stock in Saudi Arabia. This is a fully-owned Aviagen investment and the project is currently in the early stages of development. This investment will create a regional distribution hub for Aviagen brands, strengthening security of supply, and enhancing the company’s ability to serve customers in Saudi Arabia from a dedicated supply base within the region.
Jorenku’s Calci-Liq supplement enters China’s market
The liquid calcium supplement Calci-Liq from Jorenku A/S is now officially registered in China. This liquid feed supplement, which is added to drinking water, contains concentrated vitamin D3 (Hy-D), calcium, and magnesium and supports joints and bone development in broilers and improves eggshell strength in layers.
dsm-firmenich and Allix partner with Sustell
dsm-firmenich Animal Nutrition & Health has announced a strategic partnership with feed formulation software Allix, developed by A-Systems, to measure and manage the environmental footprint of animal feed. The organisations have agreed to combine dsm-firmenich’s Sustell, its lifecycle assessment platform, with Allix’s feed formulation software to reduce the environmental footprint of feed.
Poulpharm and Mercolab partner
Mercolab, a Latin American veterinary diagnostics provider, has partnered with Belgian research firm Poulpharm BV to expand R&D in Latin America. Together, they will support veterinary pharma and feed companies with local trials, international standards, and faster innovation through shared expertise and infrastructure.
Ideagro begins operations in Brazil with the opening of Agricultural Research Center
Spanish agricultural R&D company Ideagrois expanding internationally with its first research center outside Europe, opening Ideagro Brazil at Uningá University in Maringá, Paraná. Supported by Alltech Crop Science, the center will conduct physical, chemical, and biological analyses. In its first year, Ideagro will invest over US$1 million in research, development, and product registration in Brazil.
Utrix accelerates growth in MEA
Utrix has opened a new office and warehouse in Abu Dhabi to better serve customers in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries including the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain, and another office in Jordan to streamline product registration and manage direct sales. Its distributor network has also been expanded, and at the company’s facility in Zahle, Lebanon, manufacturing operations will be expanded. Utrix will also strengthen its product portfolio to address key challenges faced by poultry farmers in the MEA region with a series of specialised nutritional, health, and performance solutions to be rolled out. Its portfolio of liquid feed additives will also be expanded.
Alltech ONE Conference returns to Kentucky in May 2026
From 18-20 May 2026, Alltech will host the Alltech ONE Conference at the Central Bank Center in Lexington, Kentucky, bringing together global leaders to discuss the future of agri-food. The event will feature keynote speakers, workshops, and insights on agriculture, business, technology, and sustainability under the theme ‘Together, bright becomes brilliant’.
