A decade of poultry production amongst SAARC countries
South Asia, better known as the South Asian Association of Regional
Co-operation (SAARC) countries, has demonstrated a major increase in poultry
production in recent years. Consumption levels for meat and eggs are relatively
low, but a small annual growth has, due to the enormous population, a major
impact on the volume that needs to be produced.
