Green Muscle Disease in broilers increasing
Limiting a bird's activity during the growing period may be the cause of this
phenomenon in fast growing turkey and chickens. The problem is more evident in
older birds and in younger birds may be unnoticed when birds are sold as
carcases or parts. De-boning operations however see an increase in green muscle
disease or deep pectoral myopathy. What can be done?
